MY cousin Alyssa from Az came to visit and we made a wonderful trip to Kings Dominion (Yes for all of you from Indiana that know Kings Island this is a sister theme park) It was very fun. I am just gonna post pictures for now and will update later with descriptions /names of the rides! But for the most part, just had to tell you we had fun and I have been to a theme park in over 5 years! It was well past time for a visit:)

A trip to the Fountain

These are from my visit to the National Art Gallery Gardens. There is a giant fountain in the center of this beatifully decorated garens that have scultures all the way around it.... Some are a little bit out there but that is what makes it art!!!

I enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the sprayers as they rose and fall every 15 mintues or so. IT was great to hear all the voices of people who were getting a little wet because it was windy! I read some Harry Potter and finished the first book! I am on to the second book over the next week! Riding the bus to work makes for a lot of time to either sit and think... (not always a good thing), listen to music, or read. I have alreadly done a lot of thinking and it frustrates me to the core when I can't solve an issue. So i listen to music and just sit and watch the road ways go by and watch all those getting on/off the bus. So now I am into the reading. :)

The last photo is of the street I corssed to get to the bus stop on my way down yesterday. :) I had a good time, got some sun, and enjoyed the time to myself.:)

Hope everyone is doing well. :)

Philly Weekend

The Signer's Walk on a Street in Philadelphia ,PA!
The Picture of Richard stockton is a relative of my family's who was an Originial Signer of the Declaration of Independence!
Oumar and I traveled just 3 hours to Philidelphia (central area) for Easter Weekend. Though I was not aware of the weekend I had requested of was Easter Weekend, I did not change the weekend. I still needed a get away.
I love living in Marlyand! It is awesome at how close I live to all these historic places and just so many different things to do!
We took a day tour of just Historic area and then a Ghost of '76 Night Tour (historic ghost storyies, tales of Bellevue Hotel, and other fun scary things!) Besides the rain in the morning and the extreme winds that night, everything turned out great until our ride home!
WE had to cross over a huge bridge! it was kind of high and it was the only one to cross to get back home. I had a panic attack while driving (though we made it safely) I had come to learn I am not a fan of heights while driving!
We are looking forward to our next adventure out of here. Where we are doing I am not sure, but I will be sure to give details soon!

Meeting up with friends!

Last night I went to dinner with my friend Octavia. I met her almost 2 years ago when I went on a trip to Ocean City!!! It was a great trip! I had fun.

Well last night's dinner was great. We spent 3 hours talking and catching up on what has been going on over the last few months! We haven't hung out in a few months due to crazy schedules and lives just going round and round!

I thought it was a great time and it was definitely something that I have been in need of! I have put so much time into work and hanging out with Oumar and Robin that I just needed to spread my time out with others that I have met while I have been here. I hope to make more time for friends and just going out to hang out! I miss the fun times and I am ready to celebrate this year with a lot more happy times!:)
